About SAMARTHANAM

Samarthanam Trust for the Disabled, an NGO working for the empowerment of persons with disabilities and distress has a rich history spanning 20 years, marked by accomplishments. The Trust is geared to empower people in socio-economic-cultural fronts, leading to their holistic development. By 2020, it aims to touch at least 100,000 lives with disabilities, creating a positive impact. The journey started in 1997, when Mahantesh G.K. and two of his friends envisioned an organization to provide basic need of education for the young and talented children with disability of any form. Since then, Samarthanam has been working to empower persons with disabilities. As the journey firmed, so has the reach and programs.
